• IDS 252: Society, Ethics, and Technology (Spring 2012)

  The goal of this course is to prepare graduates who are capable of making good decisions when they encounter, invent, or produce a piece of technology. In short, it challenges the student to think whether they “ought to do” rather than “can they do” by showing how society has changed through technological innovation. In doing so it also meets the college’s World Views and Ways of Knowing requirement as well as other major requirements.
